Horsetail Falls is a classic hike which we have done multiple times. We saw there was a different route to get to it, so we decided to try that out. It is fairly steep & about 4.2 miles round trip. We had to bushwhack a bit & there were spots where it was a little sketchy, if you are afraid of heights, I probably would just do the normal route.
But it is always a rewarding & beautiful trail! Always love a waterfall at the end.
