Making Real Estate Decisions

It seems like no matter what you do, everyone wants to give you their opinion.

When we bought our first home in 2008, we had so many people telling us it was an awful time to buy, we were too young, it was too big of a fixer upper, etc. But we wanted a yard for our dogs & felt good about it. We still own this home as a rental.

When we built in 2012, we were told it was an awful time to build, the home was too big & too expensive, etc. We loved the area & knew we planned on being there long term. We did it anyway, no regrets. Looking back, we realize we built at THE perfect time, price wise. We love our home.

When we started buying rental properties, we got so much pushback. Warnings of how awful it is, how costly & how stressful. It definitely has its moments, but every property we have has been a great investment.

In the end, you know what? Who cares what other people think (I sure don’t) All of these have been great decisions for us & I do not regret any of them. Maybe it’s just my personality, I do not need others’ input to make a big decision. And sometimes while everyone else is zigging, you just gotta zag!

Buying a home or investment is a very personal decision & there are many factors that go into it. YOU have to make decisions that work best for YOU! If you are ready, or just want to chat about getting ready, we would absolutely love to help. Message us & let’s chat!!!
