The Pahneekahvets Trail is a moderate 2.5-mile round trip hike at Sundance that just opened. It has some steep spots & beautiful views! You take the lift up & get off at the first stop & go left. The trail is well marked. There were some pretty wildflowers in bloom & we saw squirrels, chipmunks & lizards. On the lift, we saw a bunch of deer as well. Fun to make a day date out of it & grab some lunch at one of their dining spots. Definitely be sure to ride the lift the whole way to see all the lovely views.
I’d rate the trail as moderate. Most could do it! Not a ton of shade, so we’re glad we did it first thing in the morning.
