Emerald Lake is a hard trail up Provo Canyon. If you want to continue on, you can summit Timpanogos from here. The fall colors are so beautiful & this has lovely views. There are some steep sections for sure & water crossings. We saw a mama & baby moose, pikas & squirrels. We were hoping to see mountain goats, but no luck this time.
We tracked this at just over 14 miles, but we also wandered further in search of mountain goats for a bit.
