The Granite Flume Trail is a quick & easy hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon. There are a couple of steeper areas, but not bad. Pretty views & we saw squirrels, hawks & big kitty prints. You can go further than we did, but we didn’t want to slip scrambling on the rocks. We had the trail all to ourselves. There are some footings & wood from the old water flume it follows.
We tracked this at about 1.5 miles total going as far as we felt OK to.
