Lizard Lake is a moderate trail up Payson Canyon. We tracked this at about 5.5 miles total. There are some steep spots. Nice views & we saw deer, turkeys, grouse, cows & heard elk bugling. There were some muddy spots from the rains yesterday to work around. The lake was actually more of a drizzle, haha. But it was still enjoyable, very secluded, only one horseback rider that passed us.
