My first time entering the lottery for a permit for Angel’s Landing, I got it! So exciting! Alltrails seems to have the mileage wrong, we tracked this at more like 5.5 ish miles? This is definitely a steep & challenging hike. Even with the permit system, it was quite crowded & we had to wait a while to get by on the super narrow chain parts. It also snowed & rained on us a little bit, so that made it even slicker getting to the top. The views were absolutely awesome & there was a huge Condor guarding the start to Angel’s Landing. If you do not get a permit, you can always just go to Scout Lookout, which is beautiful too! The switchbacks on the route, Walter’s Wiggles, were honestly not as bad as I expected, maybe we are just used to them by now, haha. It was definitely a fun hike & we were glad to have had the opportunity to do it!
