Jack’s Peak is a very steep but beautiful trail with cool views in Salt Lake.
The story behind it is:
Jack’s Peak is named after a young local boy named Jack Edwards who passed away due to leukemia in 1995. After Jack passed away, his parents scattered his ashes atop this hill and created a memorial commemorating his life. The mailboxes at the top of Jack’s Mountain contain journals and letters written by visitors.
We tracked this at about 3 miles total. We did the loop clockwise, which I’d recommend for sure.
