Red Pine Lake is a beautiful hard trail up Little Cottonwood Canyon. There are definitely some steep rocky sections to get up & some water crossings. Wildflowers are still hanging around a bit. We saw a moose, and lots of chipmunks & squirrels.
You can also easily detour to Gloria Falls from here, my husband never wants to, though hahahah
We tracked this at 9 miles, we did wandering around the lake & up on the rocks.
