We got to volunteer at Sage Mountain Sanctuary in Peoa last month. They provide a sanctuary for farm animals & advocate for their well-being.
Their hope is to inspire people to reduce or eliminate all animal-based foods from their diets & to live more healthy, compassionate lives.
Ralphie the baby pig is so cute. The pigs reminded me of my dogs, loving belly rubs. All of the animals were so sweet. Definitely recommend checking the sanctuary out. You can do a tour or volunteer there! 
Me, on our way out. early morning:
“Oh, look, that’s a pretty sunrise! You don’t see that often, eh?”
Chris: “Nope, haha!”
(He typically sleeps in later than I do)
Later, leaving:
Me: “Just think of what a boring & sedentary life you’d have without me!”
Chris: “Well, I’d be chunky & happy!”
