Salamander Flat, Willow Hollow & Snow Gauging Loop is a quiet trail up American ForkCanyon. So calm & peaceful. We saw an owl, woodpecker, tons of butterflies, scattered bones (eek) all on the trail & a baby deer on the drive down. There were some steep spots. But overall it is fairly moderate. We tracked this at just about 4.5 miles. You can easily go longer or shorter with all the interconnected trails.
