Teal Lake via Ruth Lake Trail is a wonderful, peaceful trail in the High Uintas. The route is pretty well traveled & marked until Jewel Lake, after that you definitely need to have a map downloaded. It is a bit of bushwhacking up to Teal Lake. So pretty, though! Amazing views, and after Jewel Lake, we only passed by one person fishing. We saw a lot of deer on the trail, and also ducks, chipmunks, squirrels, etc. Lots of lakes to pass by & water crossings. It definitely had some steep up & down sections. We tracked this at 7 miles, but we had a hard time staying on course, and did also explore around.
