Antelope Island is an amazing Utah State Park to explore. They wildlife is abundant & there are multiple trails to explore.
Today, we saw:
2 Coyotes, tons of bison, bucks, lots of huge orb-weaver spiders , pronghorns & 3 burrowing owls!
We arrived to the park right about 630am, which was perfect to spot a coyote on the causeway. The sunrise was beautiful too. And, it was less crowded.
Leashed dogs are allowed, except for on the beach & Frary Peak Trail.
Our pups had fun walking around & admiring the wildlife from a safe distance away/in the car. The bugs were not terrible, but we were glad we had some bug spray with us. Spiders are everywhere, which was kind of neat.
Utah is awesome
Fee for the park is $15 per vehicle up to 8 people, unless you have a Annual State Parks Day Use Pass like us! That covers it.
