Buying Your First Home, Pets!

Dogs! Cats! Pets in general! Let’s talk about them… they are SO important & such special souls. Dogs were one of the main reason we decided to buy our first home. Our first apartment did not allow pets, but I HAD to get a dog. So we did (Kanga!!), and got kicked out within 2 days? Whoops, hahaha. So we found a pet friendly apartment & obviously we had to get a second dog (Peanut!!), they have to have a friend, duh. After a while there, we just dreamed of having a yard of our own for them & to bypass all the silly pet rules & fees. We were able to buy a little old home in Provo that was a great stepping stone for us to be able to move onto bigger & better things. Our dogs LOVED to run around in the yard, and we loved being able to paint walls, have a garden, etc. Kanga & Peanut have since passed on, but we are so grateful we were able to do that for them & that they spurred us onto making the jump into home ownership 🙂
