We went snowshoeing at Sundance the first week of February, absolutely beautiful sunny weather for it. We have snowshoed there multiple times & enjoyed it. Sundance has multiple groomed snowshoeing trails to go on, unfortunately when we were there, they had had so much snow that only one trail was open. The other trails had too many trees broken down over them. The trail we did was really pretty with some steep sections, but nothing too crazy.
It is $12 a day for a trail pass & if you do not have your own snowshoeing gear, you can rent some from the Nordic Center for $13.
Don’t let winter get you down, Get out & enjoy the beautiful snow! It is a great workout. And then go get some lunch at the Foundry Grill, makes for a great day.Â
