Lake Blanche is a beautiful popular trail up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It is very steep & hard. It has great scenery & wildlife. We saw 5 marmots & lots of potguts. Trail was a little wet, but not muddy. There was snow at the very top near the lake. The lakes look really neat frozen.
Go just a little further and you can check out Lake Lillian and Lake Florence. Really beautiful views. Xoom out on the map, you can see them right by Lake Blanche.
We tracked this at just over 8 miles, but we went to all 3 lakes & wandered around as well 🙂
