Khyv Peak Overlook to Buffalo Peak is a stunning trail in the fall time. It is steep much of the way, but the views & fall colors at the moment are totally worth the effort. It was drizzly & cloudy when we went this morning, loved it. We started at 8am and it was not too crowded yet, it was starting to get busier around 10am.
*it was too rainy & muddy for us to get all the way to Buffalo Peak unfortunately. However, we still had a great time and the views were worth it.
The total trail is about 5.5 miles.
