Red Pine Lake is one of my favorites, it is soooo pretty with lots of streams & water along the way. I had heard there were actually more lakes just a bit above that, so we decided to give it a go. This was definitely a hard hike, we were exhausted when we were done. Our phones tracked around 10ish miles total. And the climb to the Upper Red Pine Lake was a bit sketchy. I don’t know if we actually stayed on the trail we meant to 
But it was very pretty & we loved all the flowers along the way!
