We went to the Wasatch Wildflower Festival at Brighton last summer, so pretty!! You can go on guided hikes to learn about the wildflowers in bloom, or go on your own self guided tour. We decided to go out on our own since we are super familiar with the trails there. Ended up doing about 4 miles round trip moderate hike through to see the flowers, we also saw wildlife including pika & squirrels.
I bought a wildflower guide book from the Cottonwood Canyons foundation, which has been really neat to read through & recognize flowers on our hikes!! The Wildflower Festival is usually held in July in multiple locations, so keep an eye out!
